What a wonderful experience this first day has been! Sam has fallen asleep in multiple places (it's almost impressive the niches in which he can sleep). The children are wonderful and are accepting us with open arms. Ollie's spanish is improving and she cried during the church service this morning. I was impressed with the children's dance abilities. They sure busted some moves for us. Renee tried the rope swing (I use the term "rope swing" loosely). The kids used some art supplies after lunch and painted more porch than they did paper. Amanda is an inspiration and an amazing translator. Todd's spanish has NOT improved. Richard is rushing me to finish (it's almost devotional time, and he is leading)! Hunter still has not combed his hair. Mr. Barry sure is creaming some 8-year-olds in soccer (which is saying a lot). We watched the World Cup entirely in spanish (Alemania!). More to come later including pictures. How great is our God?
